I’ll never forget the time I completed 127 kilometres of the Cape to Cape trek. Or, watching Paralympians hold hands and cross the finish line at the Invictus Games in Sydney. I’m empowered by my conversations with Western Australian Women in Soccer, who shared their stories of self-belief, sacrifice, and strength as trailblazers in the game ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023.
These moments matter because they become stories with messages that can create healthier communities and connections.
I believe sport and storytelling have the power to create social change, which is why I’m driven to challenge media narratives, elevate underrepresented voices, and showcase the leadership of people and organisations creating positive change.
Through COVID-19, Black Lives Matter, and the global gender equity movement, there’s no greater time to build better communities, a better world, and brighter future.
My work focuses on women in leadership, sport, and mental wellbeing to guide individuals and organisations to share stories that create a ripple effect of change in our communities, cities, and country.
